Additional services
Website operation, management and developmentThis section brings together services related to the operation of an already completed website:
administration, technical support, and expansion of the project’s capabilities.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Additional services are provided separately from the main website development service unless they are included in the selected plan, service package or individually agreed proposal.
Such services may be required before development begins, during the project, after the website has been handed over to the Customer, or during its subsequent use. They help address technical, organisational and operational tasks that fall outside the basic development scope.
Additional services may include work relating to domains, hosting, technical support, administration, security, website migration, integrations, adding new pages, changing the structure, updating materials and developing functionality.
Each additional service is performed within the scope of the agreed task. If the work requires a preliminary assessment, the Contractor clarifies the required information, determines the scope of work, completion time and price, and then sends the Customer a proposal.
Additional services begin after the conditions have been agreed and payment has been confirmed, unless a different procedure is provided by the description of the specific service, the selected package or a separate agreement between the parties.
DOMAINS
Domain registration, transfer and configuration. Connecting the domain to the website, configuring DNS and other required parameters. Conditions and pricing depend on the domain zone and selected registrar.
HOSTING AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Website hosting, server environment setup and configuration of the required technical components. Hosting parameters are selected according to the website type, expected load, data volume and project requirements.
WEBSITE TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Monitoring website operation, updating system components, resolving technical errors and carrying out required technical work. The scope of support depends on the selected service level.
SECURITY AND DATA
Configuration of secure connections, basic security measures, backups and data protection. Additional measures are applied according to the website structure, services used and project requirements.

HOSTING AND INFRASTRUCTURE
Hosting and infrastructure cover website placement and form its stable technical foundation. This service provides the conditions required for the project to operate correctly in the server environment, including the allocation and distribution of computing resources and monitoring of website availability. All projects are hosted within the studio's infrastructure, while the differences between hosting options are determined by the amount of allocated resources and the technical parameters required for the specific tasks of the project. As the website develops, infrastructure parameters may be changed and scaled.
Hosting and infrastructure services are billed monthly. To ensure uninterrupted website operation, the Customer's payment card is linked to the service and charges are made automatically in accordance with the selected plan. This payment arrangement helps prevent downtime caused by delayed payments and supports stable project availability.
Hosting and infrastructure services do not alter the website's structure, functionality or content and relate exclusively to the conditions under which it operates in the server environment. Hosting and infrastructure are treated as a separate part of operating the project and are arranged separately from website development work.
Work relating to technical support, administration, content management, changes and further website development is not included in hosting services and is provided under the relevant service sections and plans.
DOMAINS
Domain names are used to address the website and related services on the internet. This section covers the registration, renewal and technical management of domain names required for the project to operate. A domain name is a separate infrastructure element and is not connected with the website's structure, content or functionality.
The domain is registered using the Customer's details, which are stated in the relevant documents when the domain name is arranged. At the same time, the technical registration and management of the domain are handled through the studio's infrastructure without providing the Customer with a separate personal control panel. The studio configures DNS settings, monitors expiry dates and renews the domain within the active service arrangement.
A domain name is paid for a fixed period, generally one year. Renewal is carried out where an active service arrangement is in place and payment has been made on time. If the service is discontinued or payment is not received, the domain name is not renewed.
Domain-related services do not include website administration, content changes or further project development. Domains are treated as a separate infrastructure component and are arranged independently from website development, technical support and administration services.
WEBSITE TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Website technical support is intended to maintain stable and correct operation after launch. This service includes monitoring the project's technical condition, availability and compatibility with the server environment, as well as helping prevent failures that may arise during website operation.
Support includes regular technical checks, operational monitoring and response to technical incidents within the website's existing architecture. All work is carried out without changing the project's structure, design or functionality and is focused exclusively on maintaining stability and availability.
Technical support is provided on a recurring basis and is arranged separately from website development, administration and further development services. The scope of monitoring and response priority depend on the selected support level.
WEBSITE ADMINISTRATION
Website administration covers work related to managing the content and structure of an already operating project. This includes updating information, publishing materials, changing individual page elements and keeping content current.
Administration concerns the website itself as an information and user-facing product rather than the technical infrastructure. All work is carried out within the existing website structure and does not include development of new functionality, changes to the project architecture or intervention in the server environment.
Website administration services are provided on a recurring basis and are arranged separately from hosting, infrastructure and technical support. The permitted scope of actions, update frequency and intensity of work are determined by the selected plan.
WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT AND EXPANSION
Website development and expansion cover work aimed at the functional and structural development of an existing project. This includes improvements, the addition of new sections and elements, expansion of website capabilities and adaptation of the project to new tasks and usage scenarios.
Development work affects the website's structure and functionality and is carried out on the basis of the existing project architecture. The specific scope, composition and complexity of the work are determined individually, taking into account the current condition of the website, the assigned tasks and the goals of the project.
Website development and expansion services are provided on the basis of prior agreement and an issued invoice. The cost and completion time are agreed separately for each stage and are not included in hosting, technical support or website administration services.
LANGUAGES AND WEBSITE STRUCTURE
The language version and structure of a website determine how information is presented and how conveniently users can interact with it. This service covers the formation of page structure, navigation and content hierarchy, as well as support for one or more languages according to the needs of the project.
A multilingual website separates content by language version while preserving a consistent structure and navigation logic. Each language version is treated as an independent information environment, while the technical implementation ensures correct language switching and consistency across page structures.
Website structure work includes the creation of sections, menus, anchor links and logical connections between pages. Structural changes may affect block placement, section order and navigation elements, but do not include development of new functionality unless separately agreed.
Language and website structure configuration is treated as a separate area of work and is not included in hosting, technical support or administration services. The scope and format of the work are determined according to project complexity and agreed under the contract or as a separate stage of work.
INTEGRATIONS
Integrations cover the connection and configuration of external services and systems required to expand website capabilities and enable interaction with external environments. This includes connecting the website to payment systems, analytics services, feedback forms, CRM systems, email services and other third-party solutions.
Integrations are implemented within the website's existing architecture and are intended to automate processes, transfer data and improve functional usage scenarios. Connecting external services does not alter the website's basic structure unless otherwise agreed separately.
The scope, composition and complexity of integrations are determined individually, taking into account the technical requirements of the connected services and the needs of the project.
Integration services are provided separately from hosting, technical support and website administration. The cost and completion time are determined on the basis of prior agreement and an issued invoice.
MIGRATION AND SCALING
Migration and scaling cover work related to changing the website hosting environment and adapting the project to increased load or changing technical conditions. This includes moving the website between servers, hosting environments or infrastructure solutions while preserving its operation and data.
Scaling involves changing website hosting parameters in response to project growth, increased traffic or expansion of functional requirements. The work is intended to maintain stable website operation under changing requirements and does not affect its content or visual presentation unless separately agreed.
The scope and complexity of migration and scaling work are determined individually and depend on the project's initial condition, the technologies used and the target hosting environment.
Migration and scaling services are provided separately from hosting, technical support and website administration. The cost and completion time are agreed in advance and formalised on the basis of the agreed terms and an issued invoice.
SECURITY AND DATA
Security and data cover measures intended to protect the website, information and user data during project operation. This service includes solutions that support data preservation, access control and the website's resilience to external influences.
Security work includes configuring protective mechanisms, monitoring data integrity and preventing unauthorised access. Data management includes organising the storage, backup and recovery of information required for stable website operation.
Security and data measures do not alter the website's structure, content or functionality and do not replace technical support or administration. All work is carried out within the project's existing architecture and is focused exclusively on protecting and preserving information.
Security and data services are provided separately from hosting, technical support and website administration. The scope and format of the work are determined individually and agreed under the contract or as a separate service stage.
URGENT AND UNSCHEDULED WORK
Urgent and unscheduled work covers tasks that require prompt execution outside the planned service schedule and standard procedures. Such work arises unexpectedly and requires a rapid response to maintain website operation or carry out urgent changes.
This service covers work that is not included in the current hosting, technical support or administration plans and requires priority involvement of specialists. The scope and nature of the work are determined by the actual situation.
Urgent and unscheduled work is provided only on request and where technically possible. The cost and completion time are determined individually and formalised on the basis of the agreed terms and an issued invoice.
This type of work does not change the conditions of the basic service and is not a mandatory part of website operation.
PAYMENT FORMAT
Payment for services depends on their nature and the way they are provided. Some services are arranged on a recurring basis with a fixed payment frequency, while others are performed as one-off work or upon completion of agreed tasks. The specific payment format is stated in the contract, invoice or another agreed document.
Hosting, infrastructure, technical support and website administration services are generally provided on a recurring basis with periodic payment. To ensure continuity of service, payment may be processed automatically in accordance with the selected plan and the terms of the contract.
Work related to website development and expansion, integrations, migrations, scaling, security, as well as urgent and unscheduled tasks, is paid for separately. The cost of such work is determined on the basis of prior agreement and an issued invoice, taking into account the scope and complexity of the tasks.
Domain names are paid for a fixed registration period and are subsequently renewed where an active service arrangement is in place and payment has been made on time.
All payments are made in accordance with the terms of the contract and applicable law. Failure to make payment within the specified period may result in suspension of the relevant services until the financial obligations have been fulfilled.

7.1. Website development and expansion include adding new pages, sections, blocks, functions and other capabilities to the existing project.
7.2. Structural changes may include menus, navigation, page hierarchy, block placement and logical relationships between sections.
7.3. A new language version includes the technical structure for that language and placement of translation supplied by the Customer or prepared separately within the agreed scope.
7.4. Translation, editing and creation of new content are not automatically included in the technical creation of a language version unless expressly stated in the offer.
7.5. Price and timing are determined after assessment of the current website and required work.
8. Integrations and third-party services
8.1. Integrations include connecting the website to external payment systems, CRM, analytics, mailing services, forms, APIs, booking systems and other platforms.
8.2. Feasibility depends on technical access, documentation, APIs and the rules of the relevant third-party service.
8.3. The Customer enters into required agreements with third-party providers, completes identification and pays their tariffs, fees and licences unless separately agreed otherwise.
8.4. The Contractor does not guarantee that third-party APIs, access terms, prices or functions will remain unchanged. Adaptation after provider changes is assessed separately.
8.5. Failure of an external service is not itself a defect in the Contractor’s work where the website-side integration complies with the provider’s current technical conditions.
9. Migration and scaling
9.1. Migration includes moving the website, files, database and required configuration between servers, hosts or infrastructure solutions within the agreed scope.
9.2. Full migration depends on available access, technologies, licences, third-party services and the condition of the source project.

9.4. Architectural changes, substantial code optimisation, migration to another technology platform or complex infrastructure separation may require a separate project and estimate.
9.5. Timing and price are determined after technical assessment.
10. Security, data and backups
10.1. Additional security work may include access control, protective mechanisms, backups, restoration, logging and other measures within the existing architecture.
10.2. No security system can guarantee absolute protection against attacks, vulnerabilities, data loss or malicious activity.
10.3. The Contractor is not responsible for issues existing before the service began or caused by the Customer, third parties, vulnerabilities in external components or circumstances outside the Contractor’s reasonable control.
10.4. Incident recovery, restoration of damaged data, investigation and emergency work are charged separately unless included in an active service package.
10.5. Storage and backup parameters are determined by the selected service and technical capabilities of the infrastructure.
11. Urgent and unplanned work
11.1. Urgent and unplanned work is performed at the Customer’s separate request outside the normal schedule or existing service scope.
11.2. Feasibility depends on the technical situation and resources available to the Contractor.
11.3. Urgency alone does not guarantee immediate commencement unless a specific response time has been agreed.
11.4. Urgent-work pricing may differ from standard planned-work pricing and is agreed before work begins.
11.5. Where an emergency requires immediate steps to prevent further damage, initial work may be limited to stabilisation, with further work agreed separately.
12. Payment, recurring services and suspension
12.1. Additional services are paid services unless expressly included in an applicable tariff or separate offer.
12.2. One-off work is paid by invoice, payment link or another method permitted by the Agreement. Payment confirmation is the basis for starting work unless otherwise agreed.
12.3. Recurring services may be billed monthly, annually or at another stated frequency. Automatic charging is used only with the Customer’s consent and technical availability.
12.4. Where price depends on actual scope, complexity or urgency, it is agreed before paid work starts.
12.5. In case of overdue payment, the Contractor may suspend the relevant additional service until the debt is paid. Suspension of one service does not automatically terminate other paid services where they can technically operate separately.
12.6. Refunds for an unprovided part of additional services are handled under the Agreement, applicable law and the volume of work actually completed.
13. Customer data, access and identification
13.1. The Customer must provide accurate data and technical access objectively necessary to perform the ordered service.
13.2. The Contractor may request proof of identity or representative authority where reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, domain operations, payment systems, critical infrastructure, personal-data access or compliance with law and third-party provider requirements.
13.3. Access credentials supplied by the Customer are used only for agreed work and protected using reasonable security measures.
13.4. Personal data is processed under the Privacy Policy and applicable law and may be disclosed to payment, hosting, domain, communications, cloud and other providers only to the extent necessary to provide the ordered service or comply with law.
13.5. After work is completed, the Customer is advised to change temporary passwords and revoke access no longer required for active servicing.
14. Language versions and final provisions
14.1. This Appendix may be published in several languages.
14.2. The Latvian-language version is the legally primary and controlling version. Other language versions are provided for information.
14.3. Payment for an additional service constitutes acceptance of the terms of that service, this Appendix and the Agreement to the applicable extent.
14.4. Matters not regulated by this Appendix are governed by the Agreement, the Service Provision Regulations, the relevant special Appendix and the terms of the specific additional service.
