Online store

A complete multi-page website for selling products or services online

Categories, product pages, shopping cart, checkout, payment system integration, and the required functionality in one unified system

WHAT IS AN ONLINE STORE

An online store is a website where visitors can not only view products or services but also complete the entire purchasing process online. The system normally includes a catalogue, product pages, prices, variants or specifications, a shopping cart, checkout, delivery options, and payment methods. Once an order is placed, the data is sent to the seller and can be synchronised with payment, inventory, or accounting systems.

The defining difference from a catalogue website is the presence of a complete transaction. Customers can choose products, create an order, and pay without having to contact a manager. This requires additional systems for stock and order management, emails and notifications, payment statuses, delivery rules, returns, taxes, and data protection. An online store is therefore a complete sales system rather than simply a presentation of products.

WHAT IS IT SUITABLE FOR

An online store is suitable for businesses that need to accept orders and payments directly through the website. It is appropriate when customers should be able to choose a product or service, add it to a cart, enter their details, select delivery, and pay without requiring a manager to complete the transaction.

This format works for retail businesses, manufacturers, brands, sellers of digital products, subscriptions, and fixed-price services. It is especially useful when sales need to be automated, stock must be managed, large numbers of orders are processed, or payment, warehouse, accounting, and logistics systems need to be connected.

CREATION STEPS

The creation of an online store follows a sequential process: from selecting the plan and placing the order to planning the structure, developing the required functionality, technical testing and publishing the finished website.

Website creation steps:

01Selection of the appropriate plan and any required additional options
02Placing the order on the website
03Receiving the invoice and paying for the order
04Providing the project requirements: through a structured technical specification after payment or in free form when placing the order
05Providing the required materials, texts, images and other information
06Planning the project structure, navigation and logic
07Development of the design and visual system of the project
08Creating pages, sections, menus and functional elements included in the selected plan
09Connecting the required forms, services, integrations, analytics and personal account where included in the plan
10Configuration of the domain, hosting, SSL and other required technical components
11Testing pages, forms, functionality and website display on the main device types
12Publication and launch of the website

Payment of the order means that the Client accepts the terms of the Public Agreement, the relevant appendix, the Service Provision Regulations and the selected plan. Development begins after payment has been confirmed and the information and materials required to complete the project have been received.

CREATION TIMEFRAMES

The timeframe for creating an online store depends on the scope of work, structural complexity, number of functions and speed of material approval. All stages are completed sequentially without artificially extending the process.

Estimated timeframes:

01Preparation and approval3–5 working days
02Structure and design development7–12 working days
03Layout and technical implementation12–25 working days
04Content, testing and launch4–8 working days

Average creation time for an online store: 25–50 working days.

PRICING

Whichever plan is selected, the final price depends on the amount of work actually completed. If, during development, it turns out that less work is required than was included in the selected plan, the price will be recalculated and the difference refunded to the Client.

If the project requires additional work, extra functions or changes that are not included in the selected plan, their cost will be agreed with the Client in advance. No additional work or extra charges will be applied without the Client’s prior approval. There will be no unexpected additional payments after development has started.

WEBSITE TECHNICAL SUPPORT

Technical support for the online store begins after publication and is intended to keep the launched website working correctly, not to provide unlimited redevelopment. We monitor website availability, SSL and domain status, critical errors, core functions and technical components. Catalogue pages, product variants, cart, checkout, payment and delivery methods, notifications and personal accounts are checked.

If an error appears in a function we have already implemented or in the website configuration, it is corrected as part of support. Minor technical adjustments can also be handled without opening a separate development project when they do not change the website structure, design or logic. New pages and sections, redesign, new functionality, complex integrations, bulk content entry and rebuilding existing logic are not part of technical support and are priced separately.

The initial technical-support period after launch is provided free of charge according to the selected plan. After that period ends, support continues only as a paid service. Additional work is carried out only after its scope and cost have been agreed with the Client.

PROMOTION AND SUPPORT

Promotion of the online store is not an automatic continuation of development and is not included in the website-creation price unless the selected plan explicitly says otherwise. After launch, SEO, analytics and further project development can be ordered as a separate service. The first step is to check whether the pages are technically ready for indexing: headings, metadata, URL structure, internal navigation, speed and mobile behaviour.

The next stage depends on the type of project. For this website the main focus is category and product visibility, purchase analytics and conversion. We can analyse search queries and traffic, improve existing pages, create new landing and information pages, configure analytics goals and identify which pages and traffic sources actually generate enquiries or sales.

Promotion does not mean guaranteed search positions and does not imply that a launched website will automatically receive traffic. The scope is agreed separately: it can be a one-off setup, a specific improvement or ongoing work. All paid work is agreed with the Client in advance.
